Membership is based on academic qualifications
The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) exists to promote and recognize high standards of scholarship in California schools.
Membership is based on academic qualifications.
Membership is held during the semester following when the qualifying grades were earned and is for one semester only. In order to become a member, the student must submit an application each semester the student is eligible.
A point system specified in the CSF State By-Laws establishes the membership requirements. To secure eligibility for CSF membership, a student must earn sufficient points from pre-approved course lists. The majority of the required membership points must come from University of California accepted course work. For more information see the course list below.
CSF SEMESTER MEMBERSHIP
Grade Qualifications
To qualify you must earn a minimum of 10 points in a maximum of 5 classes in the previous semester.
Minimum of 4 points must be from List I
The next 3 points must be from List I or II
The last 3 points may come from any List (I, II, III)
Grade A+, A, A- for a Non-AP/AS course is worth 3 points
Grade A+, A, A- for a AP/AS Courses are worth 4 points. Maximum 2 courses used toward total
Grade B+, B, B- for Non-AP/AS is worth 1 point
Grade B+, B, B- AP/AS Courses are worth 2 points. Maximum of 2 courses used toward total

Print out a copy of your unofficial transcript. Transcripts can be found through your student’s Portal account, aka Infinite Campus: http://portal.seq.org. DO NOT GO TO YOUR GUIDANCE OFFICE FOR YOUR TRANSCRIPT
$5 application fee by check (preferred) or cash. Please make checks out to M-A HS.
Bring completed application and payment to the collection table in front of the library during lunch.
Your student will be sent a confirmation email to their school email after their application has been received.
Late applications will not be accepted.
Mail in or drop off CSF Application Submittal

Mail completed CSF Application packet to Menlo-Atherton High School, 555 Middlefield Road, Atherton, CA 94027. Must be received by the end of March 11th.
Drop off completed CSF Application to M-A front office.

$5 application fee by paypal link on the online applicaiton. If paying by check please make it out to M-A PTA or cash make sure you select payment method.
Bring check or cash payments to the front desk in an envelope with your name and school ID#.
Your student will be sent a confirmation email to their school email after their application has been received.
