M-A PTA PROM CLOSET
The Diamond and King M-A Prom Closet and Boutique
Congratulations to the Prom Closet 2025 Team, making Prom accessible for every student at M-A who wanted to go. Over 250 students served!
Students selected from hundreds of dresses and formal wear, many new with tags. This year, the boutique expanded to serve students from Mid Peninsula and students attending the San Mateo County Pride Prom.
Highlights included hand-written, personalized notes by our sewers to students; professional hair and make-up stylists at our “Prom Salon;” a bus transporting students to City Hall; nearly unlimited jewelry and accessories; and the expressions of pure joy on the faces of students who looked fabulous on their big day. A HUGE THANK YOU to 51 volunteers who ironed, organized, sewed, served as personal shoppers, and donated from our “Prom Wish List.”
